Do you know why I love you?

Creacher sat at the kitchen island one evening and watched his youngest son Ash describe in great detail and animation, his great adoration for God.

Creacher asked, “You know why Creacher love you?”

Ash took a moment to think and said, “Because I use my tablet to learn about God?”

Creacher shook his head and said, “Try again.”

Asher said, “Because I love to study about God and tell people about him?”

Creacher looked Ash in the eyes and said,

“I love you first, because you are my son!”‌ ‌

Instantly, Creacher felt the Lord answering a prayer to Creacher himself! And maybe you need to be reminded of this today. In most relationships there is an expectation of doing, working, demonstrating, and reciprocating to prove that you are worthy to be loved.

How different it is with God and in His kingdom? God loves us first as His Children, let that revelation be the source for, not only working to glorify His name but taking moments to resting from all your works, yes even the good ones, and rest in Christ!

           Think on these Promises...

Romans 5:8-but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Ephesians 2:13-But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For he himself is our peace

Hebrews 4:9-So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God’s rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.
